curated by the Fondazione Teatro Pirandello

This festival is a tribute to Sicilian culture and the deep bond between humanity and nature, transforming the Pirandello Theatre and the historic center into a creative laboratory open to the world. During the three days of the festival, from May 28 to 30, young artists from all over the world will create a unique cultural experience. Painting, storytelling, theater, music, dance, and contemporary arts will intertwine in an explosion of creativity and sharing. The festival is not only an opportunity to express and promote Sicilian culture but also to create a dialogue between different cultures, making the beauty and vitality of art a universal language. The heart of the project lies in the workshops and immersive performances that will involve not only artists but also the audience, in a participatory and interactive experience. Renowned artists such as Paride Benassai, Gianfranco Jannuzzo, Alessandra Salerno, and Lucia Sardo will lead the festival as ambassadors, offering their talent and experience to inspire participants and enrich the program.

Liolà Fest: music, theater, and nature

Their presence represents a bridge between tradition and innovation, making the festival an event that can speak to different generations. Liolà Fest is not only a moment of artistic celebration but also an opportunity to rediscover the smile and beauty of life, deep values of Pirandello's message. The festival invites reflection on the authentic relationship between humanity and nature, a central theme in Pirandello’s work that remains extraordinarily relevant today. Liolà Fest is not just an event, but an invitation to live the present with the same joy and spontaneity that animate the character of Liolà, in a celebration of life in all its forms.
