Inaugurazione Tempio di tetrapak ed End Game di Edoardo Malagigi
Attraverso tre opere d’arte pubbliche site-specific, l’artista Edoardo Malagigi invita la comunità di Agrigento a interrogarsi sul rapporto con i rifiuti e il loro potenziale di trasformazione in qualcosa di significativo. Il progetto si svilupperà in diverse fasi, accompagnando la creazione delle opere con momenti di riflessione e coinvolgimento comunitario.
Presentazione del progetto Giardino della Pace
Realizzato sotto la guida di Gilbert Fillinger, direttore di Art & Jardins | Hauts-de-France, e parte del progetto europeo “Gardens of Peace”, il giardino rappresenta un nuovo capitolo in un’iniziativa che, dal 2018, ha dato vita a oltre 30 giardini in luoghi emblematici segnati dalla Prima Guerra Mondiale.

Concordia: Dialogues on social landscapes is is a cultural-artistic proposal that aims to create spaces to reflect upon crucial questions in today’s socio political and artistic landscape: What is going on? What are we doing about it? and What can/should we do about it? We use the term Concordia in the sense of harmony and understanding, emphasizing the creation of a space where knowledge and all types of experiences can be exchanged.

Concordia. Dialogues on Social Landscape: Walk with Valeria Scavone
To know and act in a territory, one must explore it, walk through it intensely, traverse it, and enjoy it. Valeria Scavone, professor at the Department of Urban Planning in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Palermo, and scholar of the urban development of the city of Agrigento, will guide us on a walk through the city to help us understand the various dynamics that shape the urban and social development of this city.
Concordia. Dialogues on Social Landscape: Dialogue between Federica Salvo e Cristina Giménez, about art and nature
The director of the Todolí Citrus Foundation, a project founded by Vicente Todolí (former director of Tate Modern in London and Hangar Bicocca in Milan), with around 500 varieties from all corners of the planet, will speak with the director of the Kolymbethra Garden about the necessary relationship between art and nature, a key aspect for Concordia: Dialogues on Social Landscapes.

In collaboration with the Todolí Citrus Foundation (Valencia), Andrea Franco has been invited to curate a film program, produced in collaboration with the Todolí Citrus Foundation.

The exhibition of photographic works by Santiago Palacios will question the construction of history and reflect on the anachronism or persistence of certain behaviors and events such as those that have occurred throughout history, and continue to occur, in the Mediterranean.

Concordia. Dialogues on Social Landscape: Alonso Gil presents Vestiti delle Vita in collaboration with Scaro Café
Alonso Gil proposes the creation of a public artistic event of textile printing and painting in collaboration with the Scaro Caffè association, open to the participation of the people of Agrigento. The event will then be accompanied by DJ Radio Scarto.
Nessun’Isola. Hospitium
At the Regional Archaeological Museum of the Pelagie Islands in Lampedusa, the exhibition “Nessun’Isola” (“No Island”) by Tanja Boukal, curated by Tina Teufel, marks the conclusion of a long series of workshops and brings the Hospitium project to a close.

Agrigento 2025 and the Diocesan Museum of Agrigento have collaborated to create an iconographic exhibition of great scientific and devotional significance. Starting Sunday, July 6, the exhibition “The Fire of Love. Mary Magdalene: A Female Witness of Hope” will welcome visitors to the Museum with masterpieces from major Italian collections, beginning with works from the Vatican collection.
