This artistic journey, scheduled from September to October 2025, skillfully combines visual and narrative elements to celebrate Agrigento as a crossroads of cultures and a site of historic encounters. The use of tones such as gold and azure, along with symbolic materials and landscapes like tuff and the sea, creates a play of light and shadow that reflects the city’s duality—a place where past and present are in constant dialogue. Lights and Mirages is a project of great cultural value, designed to highlight the city’s historical and artistic heritage.

Through the fusion of visual art and storytelling, the initiative encourages deep reflection on Agrigento’s cultural legacy, emphasizing its role as a bridge between different civilizations. Lights and Mirages is not only a celebration of the beauty of the past, but also a call to preserve and pass on the precious cultural heritage of an extraordinary city, strengthening its identity and relevance in the contemporary world.
