Curated by the Archdiocese of AgrigentoIn the apostolic letter Spes non confundit, Pope Francis expresses his hope that the Holy Year will be an opportunity to “revive hope.” In the year of Agrigento as Italian Capital of Culture, with all its promise and practical challenges, it is vital to place culture and the arts at the heart of public life—as a necessary, powerful, and collective resource in which we must invest more and more. Not a luxury, but a fundamental good for the territory. |
The Eucharistic CelebrationThe Archdiocese of Agrigento, in collaboration with the Agrigento 2025 Foundation, has organized the Jubilee of Artists and Cultural Operators, to be held on Friday, July 4 at the Cathedral. The Holy Mass will be presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Baldassarre Reina, Vicar General of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV for the Diocese of Rome. It will be a moment of shared presence for artists, cultural workers, and leaders of artistic and museum institutions—gathered in a space where faith speaks through culture and creativity. |
